07 // Where you get found

Someone asks for your trade in your area, and gets other names

Search engines and AI systems find providers by place and trade. We rebuild your existing website so that it gets found, with location pages, case studies and credentials a machine can read, and then measure who reads it.

Before and after at Kitti Kovacs Garden Design. Before: WordPress with four page builders, none of the twelve project pages with structured data, analytics before consent, fetches by AI crawlers not measured. After: built static, all ten garden pages with structured data, no cookies, 1,876 fetches by search and AI crawlers from 18 operators visible.

Good work that nobody finds

Anyone looking for a provider today asks by trade and place: garden designer in Surrey, accountant in Bern, physiotherapy in Thun. Google answers with pages about exactly that place and that trade. AI systems such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini name companies whose facts they can read: where someone works, what they have built, which awards they hold.

Many websites contain all of that, just not in a form a machine can read. The awards sit as a logo in an image, the projects in a gallery without text, the place in the imprint. For a person that is fine. A crawler finds no answer in it to the question someone asked, and names the competitor whose site contains the answer.

What the rebuild includes

A rebuild of your existing website with a single aim: being found. The structure is built for it: location pages for the places you work in, a page for awards and credentials, a page for every project. The fixed price also covers:

  • Structured data generated from the content. Organisation, person, services, projects, reviews, breadcrumbs and service area. It is produced at build time from the same fields as the pages, so it grows with every new project and never drifts away from the visible text.
  • A complete redirect map. Every address of the old site is redirected with a 301, and after the switch we check each one.
  • An image pipeline. Modern formats at several sizes, so a phone never loads a screen-wide image. The GPS coordinates are removed from every photograph on the way.
  • An enquiry form of its own, without a plugin, sending to your own address.
  • Security headers and a strict Content Security Policy, so that only what belongs to the site runs in your visitors’ browsers.
  • Measurement without cookies. Munot reads the server logs: people, search engines and AI crawlers. It sets no cookie and loads no script, so the site needs no cookie banner.
  • Google Search Console, set up at launch, and a check two weeks later: what is indexed, what is missing, what needs following up.

The site is served statically and belongs to you. Code and content sit in a GitHub organisation in your name. We take care of hosting in AWS Zurich in the monthly package, the AWS bill is included up to CHF 30 a month, and anything above that we pass on at cost. If you cancel, we hand the site over into an AWS account of your own free of charge.

How the rebuild runs

Four to six weeks, in four steps:

  1. Inventory. We read out the old site completely, with every address in its sitemaps, and record what about you is machine-readable today and what is not.
  2. Structure. Which places get their own page, which projects, which credentials. That produces the list of texts and photographs we need from you.
  3. Build. The site is built with your texts and photographs. The structured data, the image pipeline and the form come from tested building blocks.
  4. Launch. Switch-over, a check of every redirect, Search Console, measurement. Two weeks later we look at what the search engines have made of it.

Reference: Kitti Kovacs Garden Design

Kitti Kovacs Garden Design is an award-winning garden designer in Surrey, England. Her website ran on WordPress with four page builders stacked on top of each other. Our findings of 7 September 2026:

  • None of the twelve project pages carried structured data.
  • The homepage weighed about 4 MB across 97 requests.
  • The analytics loaded before the cookie banner was answered.

The rebuild has been live since 10 October 2026. 27 indexable pages, among them ten garden pages, four service pages, three location pages and a page with her awards. All ten garden pages carry structured data. All 37 old addresses reach their target in one hop. Lighthouse scores accessibility and best practices at 100 on every page.

Munot measured the first days, evaluated from 1 to 14 October 2026:

  • 1,876 fetches by search and AI crawlers, from 18 different operators.
  • 47 of them on behalf of a person, a user-triggered fetch made while someone was asking an AI something: 17 from OpenAI, 16 from DuckDuckGo, 14 from Meta.
  • An address that never existed. ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot and Googlebot requested /our-services/, an address that never existed on her site, and got an error page. The report showed it, and the address was redirected the same day.

The last point is why measurement belongs to the rebuild. Analytics in the browser would never have shown it, because crawlers run no JavaScript.

After launch: Measure or Visibility

For the time after launch there are two monthly packages. Both build on the Operation package, which also applies after a move away from WordPress.

Measure, CHF 390 per month, minimum three months.

  • Everything in the Operation package: hosting in AWS Zurich with the AWS bill up to CHF 30, delivery, certificate, monitoring, backup.
  • Automated dependency and security updates, each built and checked before it goes live.
  • Your own login to Munot, with the visitor and AI crawler statistics from the server logs.
  • A monthly report by email.
  • One hour of corrections a month. You send the change by email, we make it.

Visibility, CHF 1’200 per month, minimum six months.

  • Everything in Measure.
  • Each month, the same ten questions your customers would ask, put to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. You see whether you are named and who is named instead.
  • Each month, the list of changes that would help most.
  • Each quarter, an audit: speed, accessibility, structured data, and your Google Business Profile compared with the site.
  • Two hours of work per month instead of the one in Measure, for corrections and to implement the recommendations. They do not carry over. Every further hour costs CHF 200, and larger work gets a fixed quote.

Other Swiss providers charge from CHF 500, mostly between CHF 1’490 and 1’900 per month for ongoing AI visibility, surveyed in October 2026.

What it costs

CHF 12’000 fixed for the rebuild with up to 20 pages, each further page CHF 400. Four to six weeks, and you supply the texts and photographs. Afterwards the site runs in Measure for CHF 390 or Visibility for CHF 1’200 per month, with hosting and the AWS bill up to CHF 30 included. Work beyond the included hours costs CHF 200 in units of one hour.

If you did the AI visibility audit for CHF 1’800 and commission the rebuild within three months, the amount is credited in full. The audit also shows whether a rebuild is needed at all. If it is enough to get rid of WordPress and otherwise keep the site, WordPress to AWS for CHF 4’500 is the smaller step.

Why work with us

  • You work directly with the senior architect who builds the site. No account manager handing the work to a junior.
  • We measure with a product of our own. Munot runs on our own sites and on our clients’ sites, and the figures in the monthly report come straight from the server logs.
  • We promise no rankings and no mention by an AI. We build the precondition and make it verifiable whether it works.
  • You are not tied to us. Code and content sit in a GitHub organisation in your name, and if you cancel, we move the site into your own AWS account free of charge.
  • We are based in Bern. Fluent German and English, with an understanding of the Swiss business context.

Common questions

What does a website rebuild built for search and AI cost?

CHF 12'000 as a fixed price for up to 20 pages, and each further page costs CHF 400. The rebuild takes four to six weeks, and you supply the texts and photographs. Afterwards the site runs in Measure or Visibility, with hosting in AWS Zurich included and the AWS bill covered up to CHF 30 a month. If you did the AI visibility audit for CHF 1'800 first and commission the rebuild within three months, the amount is credited in full.

How does this differ from WordPress to AWS?

WordPress to AWS keeps your site as it is: same content, same look, up to 15 pages, CHF 4'500. The rebuild changes the structure. It adds pages that did not exist before, such as one page for each place you work in, a page with your awards and credentials, and one page per project. All of it is marked up so search engines and AI systems can read it. If what you mainly want is to be rid of WordPress maintenance, the migration serves you better.

What do Measure and Visibility cost per month?

Measure costs CHF 390 per month, for at least three months. It contains everything in the Operation package: hosting in AWS Zurich with the AWS bill up to CHF 30, security updates that are built and checked before they go live, and one hour of corrections a month. On top come your own login to Munot with the visitor and AI crawler statistics from the server logs, and a monthly report by email. Visibility costs CHF 1'200 per month, for at least six months. It contains everything in Measure, plus the same ten customer questions put to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini each month, a list of the changes that would help most and a quarterly audit, and instead of one hour it includes two hours for corrections and implementation. Further work costs CHF 200, billed in units of one hour.

Do you also build websites without this purpose?

No. We do not build, sell or maintain websites as such. This rebuild has one purpose: that search engines and AI systems find you by place and trade, and the measurement afterwards shows whether it works. If what you mainly want is a new look, a web agency will serve you better.

Do you guarantee that ChatGPT will name my company?

No. Whether a model names you is decided by the model, and anyone who guarantees it is promising something outside their control. We create the precondition: your content sits in the delivered HTML, and the facts about your company are machine-readable and consistent. After that we make it verifiable which crawler reads your pages and, with the Visibility package, whether your name comes up in the answers.

What happens to the addresses of my old site?

Every old address is redirected with a 301 to its new counterpart, and after the switch we check each one. That keeps what search engines and links already know about your old site. For Kitti Kovacs Garden Design there were 37 old addresses, and all of them reach their target in one hop.

Why does the new site need no cookie banner?

Because it sets no cookies and loads no third-party script. Measurement comes from the server logs with Munot, and nothing runs in your visitors' browsers for it. The enquiry form is our own, without a plugin, and sends the enquiry to your own address.

Who supplies the texts and photographs?

You do. Texts and photographs belong to your trade, and only you can say what is true about a project. We tell you which pages are needed and what belongs on each, build the structure, prepare the images and mark everything up. The images go through a pipeline that produces modern formats at several sizes and removes the GPS coordinates, so no photograph gives away a client's address.
