K-I-Soft, an independent Swiss software practice
K-I-Soft IT&Holding GmbH is an independent Swiss software practice. We build digital foundations that grow with you: the website is the entry point, and the same foundation later carries your customer login, internal workflows and automation. Built serverless on AWS, with proof on a live dashboard, and the data sits in Switzerland.
How we work
You work directly with the senior architect who also builds, from the first call to handover. For larger projects we bring in vetted specialists; responsibility and the senior lead stay in one hand. A few engagements at a time, weekly updates, a direct line via Threema, Teams or Slack.
What we build with
We build serverless on AWS, as the default. Infrastructure as code so everything stays reproducible, and the data sits in Switzerland (AWS Zurich, eu-central-2). Typical stack: Lambda for the backend, DynamoDB for data, Cognito for login, CloudFront in front of a static frontend, delivery via GitHub Actions. The same foundation carries a website just as well as a customer portal or a full SaaS.

- Quartiero, our own product: touch screens in stairwells, device software and a serverless backend, live since July 2026.
- SCMC.ch, a production Swiss cybersecurity SaaS, built end-to-end, live in AWS Zurich since November 2025.
- VendoSwiss, a bilingual product site with a product catalogue and a serverless contact backend, live since June 2026.
- Stahlpartner.ch, a bilingual site for contract metal manufacturing, with a serverless request backend, live since July 2026.
- TEC-SUPPORT, a senior-friendly site for local IT service.
- Rentaside, a neighbourhood rental marketplace with iOS and Android apps.
What matters to us
We don't promise rankings or guarantees. We create the conditions and make them verifiable, with a live dashboard instead of claims. Senior-led from day one, without the agency overhead. Available for new engagements, remote-first in Switzerland and the DACH region.
Leadership
I've been writing software for over 30 years, from early enterprise systems to modern serverless SaaS on AWS. Four countries, dozens of projects, one constant: I build the things I design. Not a consultant who talks about architecture. An architect who ships it.
Most recently, I built Quartiero, our own product: touch screens in stairwells, from the device software to the serverless backend, live since July 2026. Before that SCMC.ch end-to-end, a production Swiss SaaS platform running in AWS eu-central-2 since November 2025. AWS infrastructure as code, Lambda backend (Quarkus Native on GraalVM), DynamoDB, Cognito, Vue 3 frontend, GitHub Actions delivery. Both are live, they work, and they are proof of what K-I-Soft can deliver on AWS.
